I have been trying to breed my angels now since October 2007. I have tried I think everything possible to give them a good start but still haven’t got passed 10 days b4 all the fry either die or if left in the main tank they are eaten by the others. Here is a video of the latest at 9 days but were all gone 2 days later youtube.com/watch?v=dLYZSSzaNZM

if the angels feel threatened by other fish in the tank they will eat the fry themselves. But on the other hand angels are quite inbred now and most have lost there natural parenting skills and would eat there fry in any event. i think the best thing to do would be to breed them in a separate tank and separate the angels from the fry just after the fry have hatched from their eggs. You would stand a much better chance of being able to raise the fry.
